This is one of my favorite suburban Indian places. Though the buffet is very good and an exceptional deal at $5.95, you will be more pleased by ordering from the menu to get it fresh from the oven, as it should be. As an added bonus at lunchtime, they allow you to eat from the buffet if you order an entree from the menu, just ask! Both the butter chicken and seekh kebob are as good as Bombay Palace's and at half the price. The ice cream is also great, with a deliciously powerful cardamom flavor. You will not be disappointed |

The curry dishes here are very well done and the Tandoor chicken is Atkins friendly. The buffet is a good deal. The Indian hot spiced tea is excellent. There is lots of seating. It's very big inside and the service is great.
For Atkins friendly, head for the buffet; it's the best deal. Just pick out all the Tandoor chicken or other meats and stay away from the high carbs like the rice and breads. |

This is a wonderful restaurant. The food is authentic, fresh, and spiced just "right." Can be adjusted to your liking. We like "medium." There are so many great dishes. The wait staff is very, very good- they are waiters, not just "servers." You get attentive and polite service. Nice, authentic music at the right volume. The owner is there fairly regularly, and tends to greet everyone personally and warmly. When we exit, they regularly "see you" out by opening the door for you with a warm "good-bye, and thank you." What more could one ask for in a dining experience

Far from the stereotypical "hot curry," Taste of Tandoor offers a wide variety of seafood, lamb, and chicken prepared with palette of flavors that will suit any palate. Service is superb! Waiters are highly experienced, unobtrusive, and anticipate your needs without hovering. Most nights the owner graciously stops at each table for a moment. The atmosphere provides just the right amount of elegance to make your dining experience feel special. This is my very fave restaurant. Who would have guessed Woodbridge could claim a 5-star Indian restaurant |
