Very first good part. The food at Bombay Palace is good. They offer one of the best Indian food in town. Though their food is comparatively spicy, still I will give them 8 of 10, when it comes to food. Ambience is good, place is romantic.
Bad part: Service is terrible. I mean service at Burger King is better than Bombay Palace. They have 2 good waiters and one good manager. Other than that their staff is full of people who has lost their apetite to keep their customer happy. Rarely you will see any happy face among waiters. Most of the time when they come to serve at your table, their mind is elsewhere. If you intend to have a romantic dinner, forget it. The waiters will continue to bug you after every 5 minutes with "ARE YOU DONE?" and when you say "STILL WORKING" They don't apologize instead they give you a look that why don't you eat quick and get out. Most importantly they discuss at your head in Hindi that this guy is taking lot of time in finishing the food etc etc.
Overall decision is, the amount they charge for food is very high as compared to what they offer in service. The place is good for carry out, but certainly will not go there to dine in. |
