| Mary Jo's Cuisine |

 |
In her 18th year of business, this world-class bistro uses the freshest local viands, with everything--absolutely everything--made from scratch with love and savoir faire by master chef Mary Jo McMillin. The finest restaurants from the Big Apple to the Bay Area--the Union Square Cafe and Chez Panise, for instance--have fixed-price menus that charge three times what Mary Jo does. Yet Mary Jo's Cuisine is easily on a par with these institutions. Foodies in the Cincinnati area compare her favorably to The Maisonette. Her wine list is extensive, with informative notes, and her martinis are superb. Casual bistro dinners are served on Thursdays, starting at 5 p.m. Prix fixe menus at $29.95 are served on Fridays and Saturdays, from 5:30 on. Lunch is no longer served.

Mary Jo's Cusine is the worst dining experience I have ever had. After my first bite, it felt like I had dogshit in my mouth! |

Anyone interested in fine, affordable dining will love Mary Jo's Cuisine. After 18 years in business, Mary Jo McMillin's gift to Oxford, Ohio is more than local. Her food rivals the best bistros in New York, Chicago, New Orleans, and San Francisco--and for one third the price. Whether you prefer the Union Square Cafe in the Big Apple or Chez Panise in Berkely, you will discover that Mary Jo's Cuisine is a world-class restaurant tucked away in a small college town. Try her food! You will find that it is MAGIC! |
