My family and I visited Curry Leaf in the first week of October. We went there for a weekend lunch buffet. I was disappointed by the quality of the food and the poor service. The dosa batter (and the dosa) were extremely sour, which indicated that the restuarant was using old, over fermented, batter.
The manager (5' tall, chubby) refused to give us his name when I called him over to tell him that I had a complaint. After many inquiries, he claimed that his name was Kumar. We informed that we had to often scrape the bottom of the bowls for the dishes. He pretty much did not care when we asked him why they were not restocking the dishes despite the small clientele they had then. Altogether, one can get much better service and better tasting Indian food in the many nearby Indian restaurants, and at a lower price. |
